Day 1
Transfer from Nice Airport to Monte Carlo by Helicopter. In just seven minutes from taking off to landing you will have experienced the most spectacular arrival you can dream of. Then private transfer to Hermitage hotel. The hotel, built in the early 1900’s and conceived as a prestigious establishment is today a historical monument, where the fine decoration, and the antique furniture are blended to create a unique « Belle Epoque » atmosphere. The Hotel Hermitage overlooks the harbour and the Rock of Monaco.
Welcome dinner at LE BISTROQUET restaurant. It offers a traditional French/Monegasque, or Exotic, or Gourmet menus. Every weekend, there is a Brazilian type of entertainment with musicians and lady dancers warming up the ambiance and having the guests join in very quickly! Perhaps then time to try your luck at one of Monaco’s famous casino’s.
Day 2
Following breakfast Monaco tour commences with the discovery of the Principality of Monaco itself and the Rock of Monaco. From the hotel, you will be given an interesting tour of the narrow streets and their treasures by your Guide who will also allow some free time in/around the Prince Palace, the Cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier are buried side by side.
Lunch will be taken in a typical local restaurant. After lunch departure for Eze. Eze is called the Eagle’s Nest as this fascinating hill-top village looks down from its 1,388 ft on to the French Riviera. Optional visit to a perfume factory, one of the typically local industries, then up thru the village, where one can appreciate the charm of its mediaeval houses. From here you will get an outstanding view on the Italian and French Rivieras.
Dinner at restaurant LE ST BENOIT. Located in the heart of Monte-Carlo, le St Benoit enjoys an exceptional situation as it overlooks the harbour and offers a stunning view on the Grimaldi Rock.
Day 3
Our sailing discovery of the Mediterranean border begins. We will select some 15 m cruise monocoque sailing boats allowing on each 10 participants + 1 skipper Each person will be allocated a task onboard and will take their role very seriously. Guests will enjoy the atmosphere of sportive celebration, the team spirit, taking part in all the manoeuvres for sailing.
In Nice, or Antibes guests will be able to enjoy lunch before resuming the trip back to the hotel. This return can be turned into a challenge: a real sailing REGATTA !
Day 4
VISIT TO A WINE ESTATE: CHATEAU STE ROSELINE One of the numerous wine estates still in activity, Chateau Ste Roseline, will welcome you for an interesting visit and will teach you the art of tasting a wine.
Then we will continue for a nice lunch at LA VIGNE A TABLE. The restaurant is situated in a LA MAISON DES VINS COTES-DE-PROVENCE, The Maison des Vins also offers a shop which provides a large choice of bottles at cost price.
After lunch, the trip could come back eastwards taking the “Corniche d’Or”, the scenic coast road along the Esterel mountains as far as Cannes.
Evening – final banquet at LE CAFE DE PARIS. The Salon Bellevue, roof top banquet room of the CAFE DE PARIS in Monaco. .
